KANSAS STATE, JEROME TANG REACH $12M SETTLEMENT OVER FIRING

Kansas State and former coach Jerome Tang have reportedly agreed a $12 million settlement following his firing, according to reports. The university had sought to dismiss Tang for cause, citing a postgame comment, in a move reported to be aimed at avoiding an $18.7 million buyout owed to him under his contract.

Tang disputed the firing, and the two parties reached the settlement figure after the dispute, reports said.
