PIXEL 11A RENDERS LEAK WITH NEW PURPLE COLOUR OPTION

TUE 29 SEP 2026 MOBILE

Leaked renders shared by Android Headlines and OnLeaks on Tuesday appear to give the first look at Google's Pixel 11A, according to reports from CNET and The Verge. The images show the phone in a new purple colour option alongside black, silver and green variants. The design largely mirrors the current Pixel 10A, retaining a flat rear panel without a camera bump, though one report noted a slightly rounder oval-shaped camera module compared with the Pixel 10A and Pixel 9A. Both reports said the leaked images also show the same chunky display bezels featured on the two previous A-series models. Google did not immediately respond to a request for comment reported by CNET.

The renders suggest the Pixel 11A could receive a processor upgrade to Google's Tensor G6 chip, the same one used in the Pixel 11, according to a previous report from Mystic Leaks cited by The Verge. The Pixel 10A and Pixel 9A both used the older Tensor G4 processor. CNET's review of the Pixel 10A found the handset offered a strong camera for its price but lacked some features available on the standard Pixel 10, such as Magic Cue contextual assistance. Pricing and full specifications remain unknown until Google confirms them.

Google has not yet set an official unveiling date, though The Verge reported the Pixel 11A is expected to launch in spring 2026, in line with previous midrange releases, while CNET noted the Pixel 10A was announced in February. CNET also said it remains unclear how an ongoing RAM shortage might affect pricing, raising the possibility of a starting price increase from the $499 charged for recent A-series models to $599, matching the rest of the Pixel 11 lineup. Neither report cited an on-the-record Google statement confirming any of the leaked details.
