WATCHDOG FINDS NO TACTICAL CONTACT USED BEFORE A66 CRASH THAT KILLED SEVEN
A police watchdog has found no evidence that officers used "tactical contact" or a stinger device before a crash on the A66 near Middlesbrough last month that killed seven men, including two police officers. The men died when a vehicle was driven the wrong way down the road and collided head-on with another vehicle.
The finding comes from an initial investigation into the collision.
