LIAM GALLAGHER TELLS OASIS FANS TO STOP MOANING OVER TICKET PRICES

SAT 26 SEP 2026 MUSIC

Liam Gallagher has told Oasis fans to "stop moaning" about the cost of tickets for the band's Oasis Live 27 tour. The tour, announced earlier this month, will see Oasis play 38 concerts across the UK, Ireland, Europe and the US next year. It follows the band's reunion shows in 2025. Ticket sales opened this week through a staggered system of nine buying windows spread across three days. Gallagher made the comments in replies to fans on social media.

Fans wishing to buy tickets had to pre-register by 4pm on Thursday 17 September, with successful applicants selected at random and given a unique, non-transferrable code to join an online queue. The first three buying windows opened on Friday 25 September at 9am, with further windows following on Saturday and Sunday. According to the band, ticket prices are fixed and range from £71.50 to £266.60 including fees; one report described the tickets as costing around £200. One fan wrote on social media that they had paid £6.30 to see Oasis in 1994, prompting Gallagher to reply "STOP MOANING". Gallagher has previously said the tour will not use dynamic pricing, according to one report.

Asked about resellers charging what one fan called "extortionate prices", Gallagher responded: "Don't f***ing buy them SIMPLE." When another fan asked whether they should buy tickets for more than one show, he replied: "What else you gonna spend [your money] on." Responding to a fan who told him to "ignore the haters", Gallagher said he enjoys "highlighting their moaningness". Three further buying windows were due to open on Saturday 26 September and three more on Sunday 27 September, completing the sales process.
