CROW-ARMSTRONG REACHES 40-40 FOR CUBS
Chicago Cubs centre fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong became the seventh player in Major League Baseball history to record a 40-40 season, hitting 40 home runs and stealing 40 bases in the same season. He reached the mark on Thursday, having entered the game with 45 home runs and 39 stolen bases before stealing his 40th base. Only six other players have previously achieved the combined 40 home run, 40 stolen base total in a single MLB season.
