SIMONE BILES REVEALS MASKED MEN STOLE HER PORSCHE FROM CHICAGO HOME

WED 23 SEP 2026 OLYMPICS

Simone Biles has revealed that three masked men broke into the Chicago home she shared with her husband, Jonathan Owens, and stole her Porsche. Biles said the break-in took place around February 2026, during the couple's final months living in the city. She disclosed the theft in an Instagram video posted on 22 September while preparing to collect a new car. Biles said the stolen vehicle, which she referred to as "the GTS", was later recovered. One report described the car as worth six figures. She gave few further details but said she would share a fuller account in a future post.

Owens, a safety who plays for the Indianapolis Colts, spent two seasons with the Chicago Bears before the couple left the city. Biles said the Chicago burglary was one of two theft-related incidents affecting the couple this year. Earlier, during the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, someone attempted to grab a bag Owens was carrying. He held onto it, having wrapped it around his hand, and the person ran off. Biles had previously posted photos of a white Porsche on her Instagram Stories in October 2024. She said the Chicago theft prompted her to start looking for a replacement vehicle.

Biles said she test-drove an Audi RS Q8 after being told it had the same engine as the Porsche she wanted, at roughly half the price. She decided against it, saying she "didn't like the way it drove". She then visited a Porsche dealership and chose a Cayenne GTS, saying she had always wanted the model. She said she was "sold" as soon as the car was started. Biles compared her reaction to a scene from the film Girls Trip.
