GIANTS RECEIVER MALIK NABERS INJURES ARM AGAINST RAMS

TUE 22 SEP 2026 US SPORTS

New York Giants receiver Malik Nabers left Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams after appearing to injure his upper right arm, according to reports from the game. He was hurt while attempting a contested catch with Rams cornerback Trent McDuffie covering him. After the play, Nabers placed his left hand over the area between his bicep and shoulder and appeared to be in considerable pain. The injury was initially described as an arm injury before later being described as a shoulder injury. The Giants trailed the Rams 7-0 at the time Nabers left the field.

Nabers' exit came in the same game in which Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart also left with a knee injury and was listed as questionable to return. Nabers had caught one pass for one yard against the Rams before he was hurt. That followed a stronger showing in the season opener against the Dallas Cowboys, where he caught six passes for 69 yards. Nabers had only returned to action this season in Week One, having torn the ACL in his knee the previous September. It remained uncertain whether he would be able to play in that opener until pregame warm-ups.

No confirmed timeline for Nabers' recovery or return had been given at the time of reporting, with his status described as being updated as the situation developed. His absence, combined with uncertainty over Dart's knee injury, left the Giants facing further disruption to their lineup during the match. Further details on the extent of Nabers' injury were expected to follow.
