RFK RACING REMOVES JEREMY BULLINS AS KESELOWSKI CREW CHIEF
RFK Racing has removed Jeremy Bullins as crew chief of Brad Keselowski's No. 6 car, with Mike Skarbowski taking over the role, the team announced this week. Skarbowski, previously RFK's race support manager, is set to lead the No. 6 crew this weekend at Kansas. Keselowski said in a statement released by the team that he was "very appreciative" of Bullins' work over the past two seasons and wished him well in his next role, while saying he was excited for Skarbowski to take over. Bullins has left his position with immediate effect. According to reports, he has departed to pursue opportunities elsewhere, and the split was described as amicable. RFK Racing did not give a specific reason for the change.
Bullins and Keselowski had worked together previously, making multiple trips to Victory Lane in the Xfinity Series and winning five Cup Series races during their time together at Team Penske, including a second-place finish in the 2020 Cup Series standings. Bullins began his NASCAR career in 1999 with Wood Brothers Racing, working with Elliott Sadler in the No. 21 car, before moving through teams including ST Motorsports, Robert Yates Racing and Richard Childress Racing, where he worked with Kevin Harvick and Clint Bowyer and helped the team to nine wins. He joined Team Penske's Nationwide Series programme in 2012, working with drivers including Parker Kligerman, Jacques Villeneuve and Keselowski, before leaving that role in 2014. Skarbowski previously served as crew chief of the No. 99 car at the Daytona race in February.
Keselowski's team said it believes in Skarbowski and is looking forward to what the pairing can achieve. The change takes effect immediately, with Skarbowski assuming full crew chief duties at Kansas this weekend. RFK Racing has not announced further personnel changes beyond the crew chief switch. No timeline has been given for any future move by Bullins.
