PRESLEY GERBER, SON OF CINDY CRAWFORD, DIES AGED 27

Presley Gerber, son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has died aged 27. He died on Sunday at a rehabilitation facility in Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. The cause of death has not been disclosed. A representative for Crawford, Rande Gerber and their daughter Kaia Gerber confirmed the death and asked for privacy on the family's behalf, saying they were asking for space "during this very difficult and painful time."

Presley Gerber was born in California in 1999 and followed his mother into modelling, signing with IMG Models aged 15. He made his runway debut for Moschino in Los Angeles before walking for Dolce & Gabbana in Milan, and went on to appear in campaigns for Calvin Klein, Celine, Pepsi and Omega, as well as walking for Burberry, Bottega Veneta, Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren. He spoke publicly about mental health and addiction, telling the Studio 22 podcast in 2023 that he had experienced depression and wanted his experiences to help others, describing mental health as "a 24/7 job." He also produced a series of videos called "Mental Health Mondays" discussing recovery.

In an interview for Vogue's September 2026 issue, published in August, Kaia Gerber described her brother's "decade-long struggle with drug addiction" and said his openness had changed how the family approached his difficulties. She said such struggles "kind of levels everyone" in a family and that she had come to see herself as "the easy one" who never wanted to ask for help. Kaia described her brother as someone unwilling to hide his difficulties, recalling him saying he intended to "be very human for everyone." No further details about the circumstances of his death have been made public.
