LSU AND TEXAS A&M LOSSES SHAKE UP WEEK 4 PLAYOFF RACE

Losses by LSU and Texas A&M marked what was already considered a pivotal Saturday in the college football playoff race during Week 4, according to Yahoo Sports. Texas A&M's defeat was described by CBS Sports as a "faceplant".

CBS Sports also reported that Alabama quarterback Keelon Russell had a breakout performance, while NC State suffered a late collapse against Vanderbilt. Yahoo Sports raised the question of whether Oregon, LSU or Texas A&M could now be left without much of a path to the playoff.
