SPORTS AGENT PREDICTS JOE BURROW WILL JOIN DALLAS COWBOYS
Sports agent Rich Paul has said he believes Joe Burrow will eventually leave the Cincinnati Bengals for the Dallas Cowboys. Speaking on the Game Over podcast, Paul said: "I think at some point, down the road, Joe Burrow ends up a Dallas Cowboy. I think it happens." Co-host Max Kellerman asked whether Burrow could win a championship if he joined the Cowboys. Paul responded that he believed the move was "almost inevitable", adding that the pairing "makes all the sense in the world."
Former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has also raised the possibility that Burrow could leave Cincinnati. Speaking on CBS Sports, Wilson said: "If it doesn't go well in Cincinnati this year... Joe Burrow is gone." Wilson added that he believes Burrow wants to leave and said it would be significant to see which team he joins. Burrow is playing his seventh season with the Bengals in 2026 and has not reached the play-offs since 2022. He has appeared in one Super Bowl, in his second season with the team, which the Bengals did not win.
Burrow has said this season represents a turning point for the Bengals. In August, he said he was "tired of saying, next year, next year, next year," adding: "This is it." Burrow has also taken an active role in the Bengals' roster decisions, having pushed the team to draft his former Louisiana State University teammate Ja'Marr Chase in 2021. That selection paired Burrow with Chase to form one of the league's pass-catching duos. Neither Paul nor Wilson gave a timeframe for when any move to the Cowboys might take place.
