METS STARS LINDOR, SOTO AND BICHETTE LET BALL DROP FOR DOUBLE
A ball dropped untouched between New York Mets players Francisco Lindor, Juan Soto and Bo Bichette during a game, with none of the three fielding it, allowing the batter to reach second base. Social media users criticised the trio afterwards, with one comment reportedly calling it the "Bermuda Triangle of baseball" and another describing it as "pathetic".
Lindor, Soto and Bichette are among the Mets' highest earners, with their combined contracts reportedly valued at $1.232 billion.
