POSTECOGLOU CLASHES WITH JOURNALIST OVER RONALDO CLAIM

Ange Postecoglou, the former Tottenham Hotspur manager, clashed with a Saudi journalist, according to reports. The journalist accused Cristiano Ronaldo of being a "burden" to Al Nassr during the confrontation. The exchange followed the heaviest defeat Postecoglou's side has suffered since he took charge of the team. Postecoglou responded to the journalist, though reports have not detailed his exact words. The confrontation drew attention to comments about Ronaldo's standing at Al Nassr this season.

Journalist Saud Al-Sarami has separately claimed that Ronaldo will leave Al Nassr in the winter transfer window at the end of the year. Al-Sarami said the forward would move on to play for another club once his departure is confirmed. Reports do not make clear whether Al-Sarami is the same journalist who clashed with Postecoglou. Ronaldo currently plays for Al Nassr, the Saudi club referenced in both sets of claims. Neither Ronaldo nor Al Nassr have responded publicly to Al-Sarami's comments about his future, according to reports.

The heavy defeat adds pressure on Postecoglou's side following his exchange with the journalist over Ronaldo's role at the club. Questions over Ronaldo's position at Al Nassr have grown alongside the claims about a possible exit in the winter window. No confirmed timeframe beyond the end of the year has been given for any departure. Reports have not indicated whether Postecoglou or Al Nassr plan to address the claims further.
