PACKERS EXTEND TUCKER KRAFT ON FOUR-YEAR DEAL

SAT 12 SEP 2026 US SPORTS

The Green Bay Packers and tight end Tucker Kraft have agreed a four-year contract extension, according to multiple reports. The deal keeps Kraft under contract through 2030 and is worth $75 million, with a $26.5 million signing bonus and reported maximum value of $92 million. The agreement was reached a day before the Packers' season opener. Kraft, a third-round pick in 2023, was entering the final year of his rookie contract.

Kraft suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament midway through the 2025 season whilst in the midst of what multiple outlets described as a breakout campaign. In eight games before the injury, he caught 32 passes for 489 yards with six touchdowns. Over his career to date, Kraft has made 113 receptions for 1,551 yards and 15 touchdowns. The Packers and Kraft expressed a shared desire to reach an agreement throughout the offseason and training camp.

The extension secures Kraft's long-term future with Green Bay as he recovers from injury. Both the club and player had signalled openness to a deal during the preparation period ahead of the new season. Kraft's performance before his injury had established him as a significant receiving option for the franchise's offence.
