FOUR TAKEN TO HOSPITAL AFTER STABBING ON BROMLEY HIGH STREET

Four people were taken to hospital following a stabbing on Bromley High Street in south-east London on Thursday afternoon. London Ambulance Service was called to the scene at 14:19 BST. Multiple ambulance crews, a fast response car paramedic, an incident response officer, an advanced paramedic and London's Air Ambulance were dispatched. All four patients were treated at the scene before being transported to hospital.

The high street was cordoned off by police, with closures reported both ways from Ringers Road to Ethelbert Road. Images shared on social media on Thursday showed emergency vehicles at the location and cordoned-off sections of the street. A witness who manages Merkur Slots, a gambling shop on the high street, reported seeing "a fight spill out" on to the street. The witness locked three customers inside the premises and said the shop remained closed as the situation was assessed.

No further details regarding the cause of the incident, the identities of those injured, or their conditions have been confirmed by emergency services. The circumstances surrounding the stabbing remained unclear at the time of reporting.
