CHILD KILLER KYLE BEVAN STABBED 25 TIMES IN PRISON CELL ATTACK

Kyle Bevan, who was convicted of killing a child, was stabbed 25 times during an attack inside his prison cell, a murder trial has heard. The assault lasted approximately five minutes. Following the attack, Bevan was placed in his bed and arranged to appear as though he were asleep. The court is now examining the circumstances of his death.

A folded piece of metal bearing Bevan's blood was later recovered from the cell, according to evidence presented at trial. Prosecutors told the court the makeshift weapon had been fashioned from a component taken from a television set. The nature of the weapon indicates it was constructed within the prison environment rather than smuggled in. The discovery of the item formed a key part of the evidence placed before the jury.

The case raises questions about safety within the prison estate that the trial proceedings are expected to address further. The murder trial is ongoing, and the court continues to hear evidence from witnesses and prosecutors. No verdict has been reached. Further details are expected to emerge as the case proceeds through the judicial process.
