TRUMP MOBILE T1 PHONE PRICE RISES BY £250 TO £749

THU 10 SEP 2026 MOBILE

Trump Mobile has raised the price of its T1 Phone to £749, an increase of £250 from its original launch price of £499. The company did not announce the price change and instead quietly updated its website. Trump Mobile executives had previously described the £499 price as introductory, with suggestions that the final price could reach £999.

The price increase occurs as technology companies across the sector raise prices in response to rising costs for memory chips. Apple has increased prices on older iPhone models by £100, whilst also raising the cost of iPads by up to £200, MacBooks by up to £500, and Mac Studio computers by up to £1,300. The T1 Phone ships with 512GB of storage and 12GB of RAM. At its new price point, the T1 Phone costs more than competing devices such as the iPhone 17e and Galaxy S26 FE, which leave buyers with change from £800.

The T1 Phone began shipping in May, though the total number of units sold remains unclear. An earlier teardown revealed the device is a reskinned version of an HTC handset and is not manufactured in the United States, contrary to Trump Mobile's initial claims. The phone has received one software update since launch, moving from February 2026 to May 2026 security patches, though it continues to run Android 15, which is two years old.
