VERY HOT DRINKS LINKED TO OESOPHAGEAL CANCER RISK
Drinking beverages at very high temperatures increases the risk of developing oesophageal cancer, according to research from the University of Oxford. The study, described as the largest of its kind, found that people who consume drinks at very hot temperatures are three times more likely to develop squamous cell carcinoma of the oesophagus than those who drink beverages at warm temperatures.
