MANCHESTER UNITED DRAW WITH EVERTON IN PREMIER LEAGUE
Manchester United drew 2-2 with Everton in a Premier League match. Manchester United scored through a Bryan Mbeumo goal early in the second half and a Benjamin Sesko header late in the game. Everton equalised twice, with Tyrique George and Ainsley Maitland-Niles scoring for the home side.
The result leaves Manchester United with one win, one draw and one defeat after three games of the 2026/27 Premier League season. United's opening fixture was a defeat at Hull City, followed by a 5-2 victory over Ipswich Town the following weekend. The draw against Everton means United have not yet established a consistent run of form early in the campaign.
Everton manager David Moyes said the 2-2 draw would not resolve concerns among Everton supporters regarding the state of the squad. The fixture represents Manchester United's third match under manager Michael Carrick. Both teams remain in the early stages of the season, with several matches still to be played before patterns of performance become clear.
