TAYLOR SWIFT DONATES $50,000 TO WOMAN INJURED HELPING CAR ACCIDENT VICTIMS

Taylor Swift has donated $50,000 to Ashley Taunton, a mother of three who was struck by a vehicle whilst assisting people at the scene of a car accident. According to a GoFundMe page created for Taunton and her family, she pulled over during heavy rain after witnessing a car accident to offer help. While assisting at the scene, another vehicle hydroplaned towards them, and Taunton pushed a person out of the way before being struck herself. Taunton has undergone two major surgeries and faces additional procedures as part of her recovery.

Swift left a comment on the fundraising page alongside her donation, writing: "Wishing you the best recovery possible and sending love to your family!" Taunton's husband, Joe, described the incident as "Ashley doing Ashley things" in his account on the page. Taunton responded to Swift's donation on social media, stating she was "sobbing with so much gratitude" and calling Swift "an incredible human". The GoFundMe was established to assist Taunton, her husband, and their children with daily expenses during her recovery period.

This donation follows Swift's earlier charitable activity this year. According to one report, Swift and her husband, Travis Kelce, donated $26 million to 20 charities across the United States ahead of their marriage.
