MANCHESTER UNITED SIGN SWEDISH WINGER MONICA JUSU BAH

FRI 28 AUG 2026 W FOOTBALL

Manchester United have signed Swedish winger Monica Jusu Bah from BK Hacken for just under £400,000 on a four-year contract. The 23-year-old becomes United's third signing before the Women's Super League transfer window closes on Thursday. Jusu Bah said the opportunity to work with manager Eva Olid was a decisive factor in her move to Old Trafford.

Jusu Bah spent her entire career in Sweden before joining United. She began her playing career at Umea before moving to BK Hacken in 2023, where she remained under contract until 2028. In May, she helped BK Hacken win the inaugural Women's Europa Cup. She has made 11 appearances for Sweden's national team and featured in all six of their Women's World Cup qualifying matches this year.

United sources indicated the club faced competition to secure Jusu Bah's signature. The signing follows United's earlier acquisitions of defender Andrea Medina from Atletico Madrid and goalkeeper Janina Leitzig from Leicester City. According to club sources, United hope to add at least one further player before the transfer window deadline closes next week.
