FORMER BORDER PATROL COMMANDER CLAIMS TRUMP ADMIN WANTS HIM DEAD
Gregory Bovino, former Border Patrol Commander-at-large, stated in an interview with Tucker Carlson that officials within the Trump administration want him killed. Bovino accused Border Czar Tom Homan of revoking his security detail following his retirement to silence him. He told Carlson: "Do I think they want me killed? Absolutely." Bovino described experiencing confrontations in his community, saying "every time I go out" he encounters what he characterised as "crazies". The interview has been viewed two million times on X.
Bovino previously led President Donald Trump's immigration enforcement operations before retiring after high-profile incidents in Minnesota. During the same interview, he claimed without presenting evidence that 105 million undocumented immigrants currently live in the United States. The White House rejected Bovino's allegations as absurd, stating that Tom Homan has decades of experience in protecting American communities.
Bovino's claims remain unsubstantiated by independent verification. The White House statement did not address specific allegations about the removal of his security detail. The interview represents a public dispute between the former official and the current administration over both security arrangements and immigration policy matters.
