MILES SANDERS ARRESTED ON DUI CHARGE IN PENNSYLVANIA

FRI 28 AUG 2026 FOOTBALL

Miles Sanders, a free agent running back, was arrested in Pennsylvania in June on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. According to court records, Sanders was arrested in Churchill Borough outside Pittsburgh on 8 June. Police found Sanders "in and out of consciousness" whilst in the driver's seat of a car positioned in the middle of the road. He failed a field sobriety test and tested positive for alcohol on a breath test. Marijuana was also found in the vehicle.

Sanders played for the Dallas Cowboys in the previous season and became a free agent thereafter. The arrest came before Sanders worked out for the Las Vegas Raiders in July. Court records show Sanders faced charges of driving under the influence and careless driving. Sanders's attorney, Phil DiLucente, declined to comment further, stating the matter had not reached the preliminary hearing stage.

No information regarding the outcome of the charges or proceedings has been reported. Sanders remains a free agent in the National Football League. The case continues through the Pennsylvania court system.
