CONNOR HELLEBUYCK REQUESTS TRADE FROM WINNIPEG JETS

Connor Hellebuyck, a three-time Vezina Trophy winner, has publicly requested a trade from the Winnipeg Jets. In a statement, Hellebuyck said he privately requested a trade months ago and that "moving on is the best path forward". He stated his position on the matter has not changed since the private request.

Hellebuyck is among the NHL's elite goaltenders. Analysts have listed potential landing spots for him, including the Detroit Red Wings. His trade request places one of the league's top performers officially on the market.
