ACTRESS ANNALYNNE MCCORD WEDS DANNY CIPRIANI IN LOS ANGELES
Actress AnnaLynne McCord married former rugby union player Danny Cipriani in a ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday. McCord, known for playing Naomi Clark in the American television series 90210, described the event as "perfect" in a video posted to Instagram after the ceremony. She said she had "married the love of my life" and referred to the occasion as "a blessing" and "a magical union".
The couple used Honeyfund, an online registry platform, to invite guests to contribute towards wedding costs. The registry listed items including flowers, catering and the wedding cake, with contribution options ranging from 10 US dollars (£7) to 5,000 dollars (£3,600). McCord later told the Sun on Sunday that the couple had not realised the registry would be publicly visible. She stated that following the public nature of the arrangement, they received death threats and were called "disgusting" by some people online.
One report indicated that the ceremony had multiple empty seats and that the couple had requested guests contribute towards a bill estimated at around £10,000. McCord said that guests had asked what gifts to give, noting that the couple already possessed multiple blenders. The pair are now married under the surname Cipriani.
