NEWCASTLE BOSS JAISSLE REJECTS UNITED INTEREST IN LEWIS HALL

Newcastle manager Matthias Jaissle has rejected Manchester United's reported interest in signing left-back Lewis Hall. Peter Schmeichel, speaking on television, stated that United were looking to sign Hall during the summer transfer window. Jaissle responded to Schmeichel's claim during the broadcast, dismissing the prospect of Hall leaving Newcastle.

Hall joined Newcastle United from Chelsea. The left-back has become part of Jaissle's squad at St James' Park. Jaissle's response came in direct reaction to Schmeichel's public statement about United's transfer intentions.

No further details have been confirmed regarding Manchester United's pursuit of Hall or Newcastle's position on a potential sale. Jaissle's remarks suggest Newcastle intend to retain the player for the coming season.
