HULL FC BEATS CATALANS DRAGONS WITH LATE DROP GOAL
Hull FC secured a comeback victory over Catalans Dragons at Stade Gilbert Brutus, winning 27-26 after Jake Arthur kicked a drop goal in the final five minutes. Logan Moy and Lewis Martin scored early tries for Hull, who appeared to be heading for a comfortable win. Catalans responded with four tries from Charlie Staines, Kruise Leeming, Edenn Rogers-Smith and Leo Darrelatour to take the lead. Hull levelled through Harvie Hill and Aidan Sezer before Arthur's decisive drop goal secured the win.
The match saw significant momentum shifts throughout. Moy opened the scoring after three minutes when he cut inside following James Bell's pass. Martin extended Hull's lead in the 13th minute after Ethan O'Neill knocked back Arthur's kick for Arthur Romano to pass to him. Staines touched down for Catalans in the 18th minute, and Aidan Sezer kicked two penalties for Hull in response to fouls by Alrix Da Costa and Tommy Makinson. Leeming crashed over for a converted try to cut Hull's lead to two points, and Catalans took the lead in the 46th minute when a Hull try was ruled out.
The victory marked only Hull FC's second win in 10 Super League games. Hull FC faced Catalans Dragons, managed by John Cartwright, who previously coached Hull. Aidan Sezer kicked five goals for Hull during the match, while Aispuro-Bichet kicked five for Catalans.
