TYREEK HILL NOT READY TO SIGN, AGENT SAYS
Tyreek Hill remains unavailable for NFL clubs as his recovery from a severe knee injury continues, his agent Drew Rosenhaus stated on Friday. Hill suffered a dislocated knee and tore multiple ligaments, including his ACL, during a game against the Jets on 29 September. Rosenhaus said on The Pat McAfee Show that Hill, who posted a video to social media on 22 July indicating he still has no power in his left leg after two surgeries, is not yet prepared to rejoin a team.
The Miami Dolphins released Hill on 16 February, making him an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his ten-year NFL career at age 32. Rosenhaus said he is not pressuring Hill to return on any particular timeline, stating: "Take your time. It's not when you come back, it's how you come back. We want you to come back when you feel your best. There's no sense of urgency timing-wise." Hill recorded 21 catches for 265 yards and one touchdown in the previous season.
Rosenhaus expressed confidence in Hill's future, stating: "It's not hyperbole for me to predict that he will play this season." He added that when Hill does sign, he expects the wide receiver to be sought after by multiple teams and to influence playoff races. The exact timing of Hill's return remains unknown, with Rosenhaus declining to set a deadline for the player's availability.
