THAMES WATER EXTENDS HOSEPIPE BAN UNTIL END OF YEAR

Thames Water has stated that hosepipe restrictions will remain in place until the end of the year for its 10.1 million customers. The supplier imposed the ban last month after most of England and Wales were declared in drought following a record-breaking summer of heatwaves. Thames Water is one of multiple water firms across the country to have enforced such restrictions, with more than 27 million people facing limitations on water use overall.
