COLTS TIGHT END TYLER WARREN EXITS PRACTICE WITH GROIN INJURY
Tyler Warren, a tight end for the Indianapolis Colts, left practice early after sustaining what was reported as a groin injury during 11-on-11 drills. Warren went down on a route and departed with an athletic trainer before returning to the sideline without his helmet. The injury adds to existing concerns within the Colts' offensive unit, with wide receiver Alec Pierce also currently dealing with an injury.
Warren was selected in the first round of the 2025 draft. During his rookie season, he caught 76 passes for 817 yards and four touchdowns across 17 games. Running back DJ Giddens, who has been absent from recent practice sessions owing to a hamstring injury, participated in individual drills on Wednesday before also leaving with an athletic trainer, further indicating ongoing concerns with that injury.
The Colts' offensive depth has been tested by multiple absences during the current training camp period. The extent of Warren's injury and timeline for his return remain unclear at present.
