OLLIE PRICE SIGNS TWO-YEAR CONTRACT EXTENSION WITH GLOUCESTERSHIRE
All-rounder Ollie Price has signed a two-year contract extension with Gloucestershire County Cricket Club. The 25-year-old's new agreement will extend his tenure at the club through the 2027 and 2028 seasons. Price progressed through Gloucestershire's academy system and has accumulated more than 5,500 runs across all formats during his career whilst taking 93 wickets.
Jon Lewis, Gloucestershire's director of cricket, said Price had developed into a key squad member since coming through the club's pathway. Lewis stated that Price sets high standards through his performances and serves as an example to other players. Lewis added that Price has become a leader within the dressing room and is respected by his team-mates.
The contract extension represents Gloucestershire's continued investment in homegrown talent. Price's retention secures the club's access to an experienced all-rounder for a further two seasons of domestic competition. The deal follows other recent contract agreements announced by the county cricket side.
