SCHEFFLER LEADS FIELD INTO BMW CHAMPIONSHIP IN ST LOUIS

Scottie Scheffler enters the BMW Championship as the favourite, following an eight-shot victory at the preceding FedEx Cup Playoffs event in Memphis. The 50-man field competes in St Louis with one tournament remaining before the season-ending playoff finale. Rory McIlroy also features among the leading contenders.

The result leaves some players battling to retain their playoff positions. Rickie Fowler and Justin Thomas face pressure to produce strong performances this week to secure their places in the final event.
