PETE CROW-ARMSTRONG JOINS 30-30 CLUB WITH WALKOFF HOMER
Pete Crow-Armstrong hit a two-run home run in the tenth inning to secure a 7-5 victory for the Chicago Cubs over the White Sox at Wrigley Field. The hit was Crow-Armstrong's first career walkoff home run. He also recorded a leadoff home run earlier in the same match.
Crow-Armstrong has now completed a second consecutive 30-30 season, becoming the first Cubs player to achieve the milestone in back-to-back years. The 30-30 club recognises players who record at least 30 home runs and 30 stolen bases in a single season.
