BARCOLA SEEKS LIVERPOOL MOVE FROM PSG, PERSONAL TERMS NEAR

Bradley Barcola wants to join Liverpool this summer, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. Personal terms between the French winger and the Reds are nearly agreed, Romano reported. Liverpool have added Victor Munoz from Osasuna to their attack ahead of the 2026/27 season but are seeking a statement signing following Mohamed Salah's departure to Turkish club Trabzonspor on a free transfer.

PSG value Barcola at approximately £145 million and any interested club must meet that fee. Barcola was an unused substitute in PSG's 2-1 UEFA Super Cup final victory over Aston Villa on Wednesday evening. Romano observed that Barcola appeared disinterested during post-match celebrations and suggested the player's demeanour indicated he was considering a move away from the Paris club. PSG manager Nasser Al-Khelaifi stated the club was "working calmly" on the matter and declined to confirm whether Barcola would leave.

Barcola, 23, featured intermittently for PSG last season before being left out of the Super Cup final squad entirely. Romano noted on his YouTube channel that Barcola's absence from the match and his subsequent behaviour pointed to his likely desire to depart. If a move materialises, Barcola could serve as a long-term replacement for Salah at Anfield, though PSG's valuation presents a significant financial hurdle for Liverpool's pursuit.
