TWO PRISONERS CHARGED OVER ATTACK ON SARA SHARIF'S FATHER

Two prisoners have been charged with attempted murder following an attack on Urfan Sharif at Belmarsh prison. Urfan Sharif is the father of Sara Sharif, a child whose death led to a criminal investigation and subsequent prosecution. The attack involved the use of a tuna can lid as a weapon. The charges relate to an incident at the prison facility.

Belmarsh is a high-security prison located in London. The circumstances surrounding the attack and the identities of the two charged prisoners have not been detailed in available reports. Urfan Sharif's case relates to the death of his daughter Sara, which attracted significant media attention and resulted in legal proceedings against family members.

The attempted murder charges represent a separate criminal matter from the original case involving Sara Sharif's death. Both charged prisoners remain in custody pending further proceedings. The investigation into the prison attack has concluded with the charging decision.
