DANNIELLA WESTBROOK TO UNDERGO SIX MORE FACIAL SURGERIES
Danniella Westbrook has said she requires six further surgical procedures to reconstruct her face. The former EastEnders actress made the disclosure during an appearance on Channel 5's Vanessa, broadcast on 8 June. She told presenter Vanessa Feltz that the operations are needed to "refix my face" over the coming 18 months. Westbrook stated that one side of her face currently has "no bone" and that her face is filled with filler.
Westbrook's facial damage resulted from decades of cocaine use, which caused the complete erosion of her nasal septum. In March, she travelled to Dubai to undergo a full face, neck and brow lift, alongside lip and nose reconstruction. She described those procedures as producing "miracle" results. Westbrook also said that osteoporosis has affected her bones as she has got older, requiring doctors to "rebuild all my bones".
The six further surgeries represent a continuation of a lengthy reconstructive process that began with the Dubai procedures earlier this year. Westbrook's case has drawn attention to the long-term physical consequences of prolonged cocaine use on facial bone structure. The planned operations are scheduled to take place across an 18-month period. No further details of the surgical timeline or the medical team involved have been confirmed.
