GALATASARAY SUBMITS OFFER FOR ARSENAL FORWARD MARTINELLI

Galatasaray have submitted a written offer to Arsenal for forward Gabriel Martinelli, according to transfer reporting. One report placed the bid at €45 million including add-ons, while another cited a figure of approximately £38 million. Arsenal have not yet agreed terms with Galatasaray, with the Turkish club stating that reaching an agreement with Arsenal remains their priority.

Martinelli, a Brazilian forward, turned 25 recently and has been at Arsenal for several seasons. The club has pursued left-wing reinforcements this summer, having signed midfielder Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle United for £75 million. Arsenal allowed Leandro Trossard to leave and signed Christos Tzolis as a replacement, indicating a shift in their attacking options on the left flank. Reports suggest Arsenal are considering further signings for that position.

One source reported that Martinelli has informed Arsenal of his decision not to join Galatasaray. The club's transfer activity reflects what has been described as a need to balance spending following substantial investment in recent transfer windows. The outcome of Arsenal's negotiations regarding Martinelli remains unconfirmed.
