AJ PRITCHARD POSTPONES WEDDING TO COMPETE ON DANCING WITH THE STARS

AJ Pritchard, a former professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing, postponed his wedding to continue competing on The Next Pro, a reality competition offering the winner a place in the cast of the American version of Strictly Come Dancing. Pritchard broke down in tears whilst discussing the decision during a recent episode of the series. He stated that he has "sacrificed so much" to participate in the competition and expressed concern about not achieving his goal after giving up so much.

Pritchard left the British Strictly Come Dancing programme in 2020 after four years as a professional dancer. He departed to pursue television presenting opportunities with his brother Curtis, who appeared on the 2019 series of Love Island. Pritchard proposed to his fiancée Zara Zoffany in June of last year, two years into their relationship. He did not disclose the original wedding date or when the postponed wedding is now scheduled to take place.

Pritchard spoke about the pressure he places on himself to perform well in the competition. He told fellow contestant Nina Mayster that he wanted his routines to be perfect and had worried about being eliminated. He acknowledged putting himself under "maybe too much pressure" and said the reality of his sacrifices felt overwhelming.
