FAMILY OF THREE NAMED AFTER FATAL HIGH-RISE FALL IN SOUTH LONDON
A family of three died after falling from a high-rise block of flats in Elephant and Castle, south London, on 27 May. Emergency services received reports of people falling from height at Churchyard Row at approximately 07:30 BST. The Metropolitan Police has named those who died as Aditi Vijay Paralkar, Rakesh Narayan Pai, and their son Sid Pai Paralkar. The force stated they have not yet been formally identified.
The Metropolitan Police attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service, London's Air Ambulance, and the London Fire Brigade. Acting Detective Superintendent Dan Whitten confirmed officers are working to establish the facts surrounding the three deaths. Whitten said the force's thoughts remain with the family and loved ones of Aditi, Rakesh, and Sid. The Metropolitan Police has not stated a formal cause of death.
