ESPN ANALYST MILLER CHARGED OVER CAR CRASH THAT COST HIM ARM
ESPN NFL draft analyst Matt Miller has been charged with a misdemeanour following a car collision in June 2026. The charge relates to failing to drive on the right half of a roadway, resulting in an accident. Miller is due in court on 21 September. The collision resulted in serious injuries to Miller, including the amputation of an arm.
Miller is currently on leave from ESPN whilst he recovers from his injuries. The car crash charge emerges at a time when the Missouri Attorney General is investigating allegations against Miller concerning fantasy-football leagues that allegedly failed to pay out winnings to contestants. Online complaints regarding these fantasy-football leagues emerged in the aftermath of the accident.
ESPN stated that it will address the legal issues at the appropriate time. The broadcaster has not disclosed when Miller might return to his duties as an NFL analyst. Miller faces both the misdemeanour driving charge and the investigation into the fantasy-football allegations.
