PUKA NACUA LEAVES RAMS PRACTICE WITH UNCONFIRMED INJURY
Puka Nacua, a wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams, departed the team's joint practice with the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday without a confirmed reason for his absence. The extent and nature of any injury remain unclear. One account reported Nacua left with a "mystery injury", whilst another stated the reason for his departure was "unknown". Nacua was unable to participate for the entirety of the practice session.
The Rams are preparing for their upcoming matchup against the Cowboys as part of their pre-season preparation. Matthew Stafford, the Rams' quarterback, participated fully in the same practice. The team has not issued an official statement regarding Nacua's status or expected return to practice.
Nacua's absence follows a separate report that Myles Garrett, a pass rusher for the Rams, missed the same joint practice with "lower-body soreness". Garrett walked onto the field in street clothes to observe the first-team defence, marking the second consecutive day he had missed practice. The Rams have not disclosed whether either player's absence is expected to be short-term or longer-term, or whether either condition will affect upcoming matches.
