SEAHAWKS HOLD WORKOUT WITH CB FACING FELONY CHARGES
The Seattle Seahawks held a workout with cornerback Terrion Arnold on their practice field, according to reports from August 2026. Arnold, a former Detroit Lions player, is currently facing multiple felony charges of alleged kidnapping and armed robbery following an arrest in June 2026. An arraignment hearing was scheduled for 13 August in Tampa, Florida. The Seahawks described Arnold as "a good kid" who "wants another chance", according to league sources quoted by NFL Insider Josina Anderson.
Arnold was selected 24th overall by the Lions in the 2024 NFL Draft and started 22 of his 24 games played over two seasons, recording 91 tackles and one interception. Detroit released him into free agency on 30 June 2026, shortly after his arrest. Arnold has visited multiple teams during his free-agent search, including the Houston Texans and the Seahawks, with the New Orleans Saints also scheduled to meet with him. League sources indicated Arnold was probing which team felt most comfortable for him and that he would likely need to sign for around the league minimum salary.
Arnold faces eight felony charges that could result in a life prison sentence if he is convicted, according to Yahoo Sports. The exact nature of the alleged offences and the circumstances of his arrest in June have not been detailed in the available reports. His legal proceedings remain ongoing as NFL teams evaluate whether to sign him.
