US JOBS DATA WEAKENS CASE FOR FED RATE RISE IN SEPTEMBER
A US employment report released in July has reduced the likelihood of a Federal Reserve interest rate increase in September, according to market analysis. The Federal Reserve will continue to monitor upcoming inflation data before making its decision on monetary policy. Rick Rieder, Chief Investment Officer of global fixed income at BlackRock, characterised the employment report as "unremarkable" and noted that the economy is experiencing a "productivity revolution."
