STEPHEN BEAR JAILED 16 MONTHS FOR BREACHING RESTRAINING ORDER
Stephen Bear has been sentenced to 16 months' immediate imprisonment for breaching a restraining order linked to harassment of Georgia Harrison. The sentence relates to a conviction for violating the restraining order that was issued alongside Bear's 2023 conviction for secretly recording and sharing a sex tape featuring Harrison without her consent. According to the Crown Prosecution Service, Bear breached the order by posting about Harrison on social media. Judge Morgan stated during sentencing: "You know what the terms of the order was. You understood the consequences and over a prolonged period you deliberately breached the court order. The sentence I impose must be immediate." Bear became emotional in the dock as the matter was addressed.
The court heard that in July 2025, following Harrison's appearance on a prominent podcast where she discussed the case, Bear received a significant number of notifications and online comments. His legal representative, Ms Deri Molyneux, presented personal difficulties Bear was facing at the time as a mitigating circumstance. The Celebrity Big Brother star arrived at Chelmsford Crown Court accompanied by his pregnant wife, Miami. The pair revealed in March that they are expecting their first child.
Harrison submitted a victim personal statement which was read aloud in court by Ms Kutner. The statement described Bear's behaviour as having a "profound impact" on her, stating: "It causes me significant distress, anxiety and fear during my pregnancy which would make me worry about the baby. He's attempted to control the narrative around my life again. His online presence makes me petrified as I perceive him to be angry." Harrison characterised Bear's conduct as "relentless with the abuse".
