KELSEY PARKER RESPONDS TO TROLL OVER TOM PARKER GRIEF
Kelsey Parker has responded to a social media user who told her to stop thinking about her late husband, The Wanted singer Tom Parker. Parker shared a video on Instagram describing her emotional state on what would have been Tom's 37th birthday this week, four years after his death in 2022 at age 33 from brain cancer. A message subsequently sent to her told her to "move on" from Tom and suggested her current partner Will Lindsay would feel hurt by her continued grief. Parker, 36, then publicly replied to the message on her Instagram Stories.
In her response, Parker clarified that Tom was her husband, not her "ex-husband", and stated that the distinction was significant. She wrote that loving someone who has died does not cease when a person enters a new relationship, and that grief is not something one "switches off". Parker noted that Will Lindsay understands this, as he continues to remember his own father, who died when Lindsay was 21. Parker has been open about her grief on social media since Tom's death, whilst also documenting her life with Lindsay, whom she met in Kent and went public with in September 2024.
Parker is currently expecting a child with Lindsay following a stillbirth in June 2025, when their son Phoenix was born at 39 weeks gestation. Parker has previously used her platform to raise awareness about brain cancer. According to reports, Parker said in January 2026 that she hoped for a "better year" and intended to continue growing her family.
