CUBS DEFEAT DODGERS IN SKUBAL'S LA DEBUT

Tarik Skubal made his Los Angeles Dodgers debut against the Chicago Cubs on Sunday following his trade deadline acquisition from the Detroit Tigers. Javier Assad and the Cubs bullpen secured victory despite Skubal's performance. The Dodgers' batting order failed to produce runs in the match.

Skubal, who won the American League Cy Young Award last season, was acquired by the Dodgers at the trade deadline. One source reported that a Cubs player hit a home run off Skubal during the game.
