RONALDO MEETS AL-NASSR BOSS POSTECOGLOU DURING HOLIDAY BREAK

Cristiano Ronaldo interrupted his holiday to meet Ange Postecoglou, reported to be Al-Nassr's new manager, following Portugal's elimination from the World Cup. The meeting took place as Al-Nassr prepared for the forthcoming season. No further details of their discussion were disclosed in available reports.

Postecoglou's appointment at the Saudi club represents a significant managerial change for the organisation. Al-Nassr have also been reported to be in the process of signing midfielder Samu Costa, though the club received a warning not to allow Costa to participate in training camp or pre-season training before the transfer was formally completed.

The timing of Ronaldo's meeting with Postecoglou suggests the manager may prioritise establishing rapport with the club's prominent players early in his tenure. Al-Nassr continue to build their squad ahead of the new campaign. No statement has been issued regarding the outcome of the Ronaldo-Postecoglou meeting or any planned discussions between the two parties.
