CARSON BROWN TO MAKE NASCAR O'REILLY SERIES DEBUT AT IOWA
Carson Brown will make his NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series debut this weekend at Iowa Speedway, driving the No. 32 Distributor Wire & Cable Chevrolet for Jordan Anderson Racing. The 18-year-old driver from New London, North Carolina, will become the youngest driver to compete in the 2026 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series season. Brown is a development driver for Richard Childress Racing and has established success across multiple racing categories this year.
Brown leads the ASA STARS National Super Late Model Tour title after four wins and two second-place finishes in six outings with Anthony Campi Racing. He has also recorded victories in ARCA and Trans-Am racing, and competes in the CARS Late Model Stock Tour with Lee Pulliam Performance. According to reporting, Brown is identified as the likely driver of an RCR car in the O'Reilly Series should Austin Hill remain in the No. 33 Cup car in 2027.
The Iowa debut carries implications for Richard Childress Racing's roster moves. Jesse Love is scheduled to become a full-time NASCAR Cup Series driver in 2027 with Wood Brothers Racing in the No. 21 car, departing RCR's development pipeline. If both Love's promotion and Hill's continued Cup Series assignment materialise, RCR would need to reconstruct its O'Reilly Series lineup for the 2027 season.
