SUMMERSM 2026 SET FOR MINNEAPOLIS WITH NETFLIX BROADCAST

WWE announced that SummerSlam 2026 will take place at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis across two nights. The event will be broadcast live on Netflix in the United Kingdom as part of WWE's partnership with the platform. In the United States, the event will be available through ESPN. The wrestling promotion described SummerSlam as its biggest event of the summer.

The card features several championship matches across both nights. Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk will defend his title against Cody Rhodes, whilst Roman Reigns faces Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship. Liv Morgan defends the Women's World Championship against IYO SKY, and Penta defends the Intercontinental Championship against Chad Gable. An Interim WWE Women's Championship Ladder Match will involve Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill, Charlotte Flair, Lash Legend and Chelsea Green, whilst Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi will compete inside Hell in a Cell. The two-night event is expected to feature approximately a dozen matches featuring multiple WWE stars.

WWE anticipates millions of viewers will watch the event through Netflix across the United Kingdom and other international markets. The expansion to two nights reflects the scale of the promotion's summer programming strategy. SummerSlam is positioned as one of the largest wrestling weekends of the year.
