CARLOS ALCARAZ TO RETURN TO TENNIS AFTER FOUR-MONTH INJURY ABSENCE

Carlos Alcaraz is set to return to competitive tennis and defend his US Open title following a four-month absence due to injury. The Spaniard has adopted a new appearance ahead of his comeback. One report noted that Alcaraz will face scrutiny from tennis media upon his return to competitive action.

Alcaraz won the US Open title in a previous year and holds the status of defending champion at the tournament. His injury layoff represents a significant period away from professional competition. The nature and specific details of the injury were not disclosed in available reports.

Alcaraz's return will be closely monitored by the tennis community. One former coach predicted additional challenges for Alcaraz's comeback to competitive play ahead of the US Open. The exact timing of Alcaraz's competitive return beyond the US Open defence was not confirmed in the source material.
